Once the ancient capital of Cornwall and with a millennium of history to enjoy, Launceston has much to offer. Walking from the Norman castle, passing the tower built by the Black Prince and through the narrow medieval streets, you arrive at Southgate Arch, the last remaining gate to the only walled town in Cornwall.
